BB Plywood Board
BB Plyform board is an OSB product (oriented strand board) with a sealed oil finish for concrete forming. This plyform oil finish allows the concrete to not stick to the surface
This board is usually available in full 4’ x 8’ .
ACX Fire-Retardant Plywood
D-Blaze fire retardant plywood is Classified with FR-S Rating, and is satisfactory using the rules under ICC-ESR 2645 and ensure complianance with IBC2009 and IRC 2009.
Chemically Pressured - Fire Retardant Plywood
Fire Retardant plywood is chemically pressure-treated to inhibt the spread of flames and creation of smoke. In the event of a fire, this plywood will not spread fire and develops less smoke.
Classification of Fire Retardant Plywood
D-Blaze plywood may be substituted for materials classified as non-combustible in certain building types designed by the model building codes.
Warranty on Fire Retardant Plywood and Treatment
Fire Retardant Plywood usually offers a 50-year limited warranty. This plywood can be painted or stained just as untreated wood, but flammability of the finish should be considered.
Fire Retardant Plywood and Protection Against Moisture Damage.
D-Blaze plywood is in intended for interior use only and should be protected against direct moisture, precipitation or regular condensation. D-Blaze plywood is low-corrosivity, non-blooming and low-hygroscopicity. D-Blaze plywood has No VOC’s or Formaldehyde. Galvanized steel hardware is recommended, although the D-Blaze treatment does not increase the corrosion of bare steel. Ripping or cross-cutting plywood, drilling holes and light sanding is permissible. It is not necessary to field-treat cut ends to maintain the flames spread rating.
Finland Birch Aircraft Plywood
Finland Birch Aircraft Plywood is 1/16" thick and a GL-2 grade. This is an excellent finish grade on one side, allowing it to be visible in the finished product.
Pieces tend to have uniform color variation and some ribboning. It is used for musical instruments, fine furniture, and cabinets. This plywood is thin enough to also be flexible. There can be an occasional small knot or blemish on the back side.
Oriented Strand Board
OSB is made of thin narrow strands of hardwoods and softwoods that are longer than they are wide. The strands are dried, screened, blended with adhesive and formed into a multilayered mat. In the surface layer, the long axes of the strands are oriented so that they are, in general, parallel with the long direction of the panel. The strands in the inner layers may not be oriented in any particular direction or may be generally oriented perpendicular to the long direction of the panel.
MDF Plywood
What is MDF Plywood? Well I'll give you a brief description of it's background here. MDF Plywood is actually an acronym for Medium Density Fibreboard. It is a specially engineered product which is created when hardwood or softwood is broken down into fibers and then combined with wax in a resin. This then forms panels (plywood) by applying high temperature and pressure. MDF Plywood is actually denser than regular plywood, but can be used in the same applications or those that might call for greater strength than run of the mill plywood
